This is where the handoff happens.
On a live community site this button opens the resident portal hosted by the property management software, on its domain, where the ledger and payment history already live. Residents keep the login they already have, and nothing about rent collection moves to the marketing website.
That is the point worth demonstrating: replacing a community's website does not touch applications, payments or resident accounts.
Campus Quarter is a demonstration community, so there is no portal to sign in to.
