Apartment Website Templates
Looking for a template to get an apartment site online fast without a big custom-build budget? That is a reasonable place to start. Here is what a leasing template needs to do, where most fall short, and a faster route to a site built to actually fill units.
What a leasing template has to get right
An apartment website is not a brochure. It has one job: turn the renters who find you into tour requests and signed leases. A template only helps if it supports that, so look for:
- Floor plan pages with real pricing and an apply button
- A tour request that is one tap from any page
- Fast loading on a phone, where most renters browse
- Room for honest photos of the actual community
- Clear spots for pet, parking, and lease answers
Where most templates fall short
The free and cheap templates are built to fit any business, so they fit none of them well. The common problems: generic stock imagery, heavy page-builder code that slows the site down, no leasing structure (you bolt floor plans on yourself), and a look that is identical to a thousand other sites. You also still do all the work, the writing, the photos, the setup, on your own time.
Template or custom? The honest version
A template is cheaper and faster but generic, and you often rent it month to month. A fully custom site converts better and is yours, but costs more. Most communities do not need either extreme. They need a site built for leasing, at a price close to a template.
How we do it
Our LeaseUp package is $2,500 for a clean, five-page site, template-like pricing, but designed around tours and applications, written for your community, and owned by you. No monthly rent for the build, no generic theme, and it is fast by default. If you want more pages and features, CommunityPro is $4,500.

Apartment website templates, answered
Are apartment website templates free?
Some are. Page builders like Wix and Squarespace, and free WordPress themes, include basic templates at no cost. They get you online, but they are built for any business, not for leasing, so you still have to bend them into shape and they rarely include floor plans, tour forms, or fast mobile performance out of the box.
Is a template or a custom site better for an apartment community?
A template is cheaper and faster but generic. A custom site converts better because every page is built for tours and applications. The middle ground, which is what we do, is a leasing-specific build at a template-like price, so you get the speed and budget of a template with a design made for your community.
Can I move a template site to my own domain later?
With most builders, yes, though you may be locked into their platform and monthly fee. When we build your site you own it outright and can host it anywhere, so you are never stuck.
