FAQ

Straight answers about apartment websites

The questions property managers ask us most, answered without the runaround. If yours is not here, just ask.

How much does a new apartment website cost?

Sites start at $2,500 for the LeaseUp package and $4,500 for CommunityPro. Most communities invest between $4,500 and $8,000 for a custom, lead-focused site. Management companies and portfolios get a custom quote. Pricing is published on our pricing page, so you never have to ask.

How long does it take to build a site?

Fast. We can get a first version of your site live in as little as 24 hours, then refine and expand it into your full custom site from there. You get a clear plan up front, so you always know what is next.

Do you only work with apartment communities?

Yes. We work exclusively with apartment communities, property managers, and real estate groups. That focus is why our pages, forms, and content are built around leasing instead of generic small-business templates.

Can I update the website myself after launch?

Yes. We build on systems that are straightforward to edit, so your team can change text, swap photos, and post updates. For bigger changes, our support plans cover the work.

Do you provide hosting?

Yes, and your entire first year is free. Every build includes a full year of hosting, security, backups, small updates, and support at no extra cost. After that it continues on a care plan at $99, $199, or $299 a month, depending on how much hands-on help you want. If you only need hosting on its own, that is $30 a month, billed annually. No long-term contracts.

What happens after my site launches?

We do not disappear. Care plans cover updates, security, and performance reports, and most clients keep us on for ongoing marketing.

Do you integrate with property management software?

Yes. We connect sites to RentMerchant, our own rent collection platform, as well as Yardi and RentCafe, RealPage, AppFolio, Entrata, and AMSI, so renters can view availability, schedule tours, and apply without leaving your site. You keep your software; we build around it.

What if I already have a website?

We redesign and migrate existing sites all the time. We protect your rankings, redirect old URLs, and keep your leads flowing during the switch so nothing breaks.

Do you offer marketing services?

Yes. Beyond the website we run Google Ads, Facebook and Instagram campaigns, local SEO, and reputation management to bring qualified renters to your door.

What keeps the site running after launch?

A monthly care plan. Every build includes the first year of hosting, security, backups, small updates, and support at no charge. After that the site stays live on a care plan starting at $99 a month, which covers hosting and keeps it maintained, secure, and supported. Upgrade anytime, no long-term contract.

Can one website serve two or more communities?

Yes. When sister properties share an owner and a market, one site with a clearly separated section per community is usually the better build. Each community keeps its own URL, floor plans, photos, and Google Business Profile, so neither loses its local search presence.

Do you build lease-up websites for brand-new buildings?

Yes. For new construction we can put a first version live in as little as 24 hours, typically a coming-soon page that collects an interest list, then grow it into the full site as floor plans, pricing, and photography arrive. The earlier it starts, the longer your pre-leasing runway.

Is there a minimum community size you work with?

No. The break-even math is about vacant days, not unit count: a vacant unit costs roughly one thirtieth of its monthly rent per day, so even a 48-unit community usually recovers a $2,500 build by shaving a couple of vacant days per turn.

What if I manage multiple properties?

Whichever structure fits: one website with a dedicated section per community, individual property sites, a portfolio hub, or a mix. Two sister properties under one owner often share a single site, and each community keeps its own name, pages, floor plans, and local search listing.
